Update Finally!

Wow I am as good at updating this as writing in my journal :)
Last I posted I had just certified as an EMT Basic, now I am actually using it! I started working for a company called Metro West Ambulance about a month ago. I currently drive a transport van and do non-emergency transportations. I love it. I don't have a partner so I get a lot of time to think and ponder. I also get to meet some really great people. We are bidding for our shifts for fall and they told me I can go up to full time which is AMAZING since I am moving in exactly two weeks!! Plus the added bonus of getting benefits again since I lost them when I finally left Wells Fargo about a week after I started with Metro West.
I am really excited to move out again. I will be living with Tiffany Waltman (for those of you who remember she prophesied before I left on my mission that we would live together and it is finally coming true lol :). Any one that wants to help us move just let me know! We move the 23rd!

Officially!

I love how it takes me months between posts! I am now officially certified as an EMT basic! Everything came in the mail today: my certificate, my patch, and some information of maintain my certification. It was awesome. Now all I need to do is find a job. Of course with school full time that is a little hard. I am really excited for my classes this semester I am taking a Biology class, a Chemistry class, and a Guitar class. I am of course more excited for the labs than the lectures but opposition in all things right :).
Another update, I am no longer teaching primary. :( I am going to the Tanasbourne singles ward now and they of course don't have a primary. My kids were so cute though this last Sunday. They kept begging me to stay and made me promise that I would come visit them. Stephanie and David are taking over my class and we have church at different times so that shouldn't really be a huge deal as long as I remember to do it.

Ride Along

So I for those of you who don't know I am currently taking a class to become and EMT. My final for the first class is next week and I am really freaking out about it. But on happier notes I went on a ride along (in an ambulance of course) on Monday. We didn't get a lot of action but it was really fun. The two paramedics I was riding with (both female!) tought me a lot and were so nice and awesome. In a couple of weeks I get to do a rotation in the ER at ST Vincent hospital I am way excited for that also.

Finally less stress!

My fall schedule is finally worked out! My boss was very suprisingly helpfull making it so i could keep my job and still go to school. I may not have any time to breath but hopefully that won't last too horribly long and i can adapt. I cannot wait for school to start it has been way too long.

First Post

Ok so I'm finally going to try this blog thing. Thanks Emily for making me do it! I guess a quick shot at what life is at the moment. I am working for a bank as a banker but looking for a job in the medical world that doesn't require a degree because I don't have one yet. School starts in September for my emt classes and I can not wait. My cute little nephew is 4 months old now and the cutest thing in the whole world even when he is screaming like he is now. Last but not least I guess is that my church calling is teaching the nine year old primary class. It is fun but definantly challenging.
